Code of conduct
What we stand for
Respect, understanding and compassion are the foundation of our movement.
Our community is an inclusive movement that recognizes that all forms of discrimination are interconnected.
We believe that putting an end to violence and oppression begins with love, respect, and kindness to all living things – regardless of race, gender or species. Racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, xenophobic, ableist or speciesist statements and behavior, as well as all other forms of discrimination and hateful behavior, are not welcome.
In our community we do not tolerate harassment of any kind. Harassment includes (but not limited):
- offensive comments related to:
– gender
– age
– race
– religion
– sexual orientation
– disability
– physical appearance
– body size - deliberately intimidation
- stalking
- physical following
- harassing by photography or recording
- persistent disruption of conversations or other events
- inappropriate physical contact
- unwanted (sexual) attention
Stay peaceful and positive. Avoid temptation to respond to negative comments with negative responses.
We are a very welcoming and open group. By joining that group, you will be held to that same high standard. We reserve the right to enforce adherence to the Code of Conduct by taking measures up to exclusion from our events. The anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policy of the international Animal Save Movement is applicable.
